Take your pick?

Hughton for me.

And me, at least he will understand the needs for now......

It’s uninspiring tbh but I would give Hughton a short term contract until the end of the season..

I don't want benitez though the latest stories about his wife being unhappy tells me he's been contacted by a club, howe would take paying a compensation fee so that's not happening, dyche would also cost them money, so hughton is maybe the only possible out of those four

You want a bloke that was recently sacked by BRIGHTON?

FUCKING HELL

I think we need to be realistic in who would be available and would want to come

Eerie Descent 1:18 Sun Nov 24
Re: Hughton vs Howe vs Dyche ?
So realistic for us is someone who Brighton couldn't wait to fuck off?

Re: Hughton vs Howe vs Dyche ?
Yes, let's be realistic. The tight-fisted owners would never buy out Benitez's contract on top of paying a huge amount of redundancy to Pellegrini.

Of the named mentioned in the article, I would prefer Dyche as he would at least knock a few heads together and instill a bit of pride in our performances. Whether they would be willing to buy out his Burnley contract is another matter.

It will probably be a "freebie" out of work manager, knowing how the board operate. Probably Hughton or Moyes or someone of that ilk. Really inspired stuff!

The article made me laugh when it stated that the board are hesitant to act and get in a new manager while Fabianski is out. West Ham lurk from one shambles to another under these football incompetents.

I don't want anyone Eerie, we've said many fucking times, it's irrelevant who the manager is while we're owned by that pair of clowns. as they hate spending money, he's the only viable option out of those named

Re: Hughton vs Howe vs Dyche ?
Miike, I was responding to the OP to be fair.

But I can't for the life of me understand how anyone could think Hughton is the best we could do. I mean, fucking hell, we're paying someone £8mil a year, we can do much better than someone who was recently sacked by Brighton because of the atrocious style of football he has his team playing. In fact, he's been sacked by every club he has managed.

Re: Hughton vs Howe vs Dyche ?
If Dyche is available then snap him up. He understands football. He organises and has actual plans, both for the match itself and the long term vision. FFS he got BURNLEY into the Europa league. That is fucking ridiculous. Every game we play against that lot we are out fought and out thought time and time and time again.

I'd rather stick and then look at young English managers next season. Howe, Gerrard, Bowyer etc.

But let's be honest, no matter who has the reigns, working under Gold, Sullivan and Brady will inhibit any chance of moving the club forward.

Don't think Dyche will work out with our foreign flash players

Re: Hughton vs Howe vs Dyche ?
just looked at the odds. Dyche not even listed. which is ludicrous.

the list has names like allegri, ancelotti, arteta, poch, blanc and kovac on it.

how fucking deluded do you need to be to think that

a) they'd want to come to a club like this
b) they'd be able to fix the issues we have

FFS we can't take a throw on. we totally lack organisation, fitness, plans, ideas and style of play. we need to go back to basics. we don't have a single method of attacking plan.

we need British and we need someone who's capable of taking an extremely average collection of players, collectively making them play above and beyond their actual ability, find that way of grinding out draws and 1-0 or 2-1 (i.e. tight) victories and then we can go from there.

Re: Hughton vs Howe vs Dyche ?
I just think Hughton sorts out underperforming teams. Did it at Newcastle, Brighton, spurs etc...

He may not be a long term appointment but he always gets teams doing the basics and getting more out of them. He is also a great people manager. And at a club where we have a few key players capable of turning things around you need a people person to manage them.

Dyche and Howe have free reign of one club and that hides a lot of bollocks. I don’t think their methods will work “anywhere”. That’s what happened with Moyes. This idea that because he’s been a success with no money at Everton means you can do it Man Utd etc.. that’s not how it works.

I can’t remember and appointment where Hughton has done badly in the first year or so of being there. And he’s worked at a lot of clubs. He’s never really been backed financially (perfect for us!) and has never been relegated.

Seems like an obvious appointment given our circumstances.

Go tits out for bielsa.
I wanted him when he was linked before Bilic.
Would change the whole playing side of the club. Would at last see some proper fitness over there.

Sven Roeder 2:06 Sun Nov 24
Re: Hughton vs Howe vs Dyche ?
I could see Hughton taking it to the end of the season like Moyes did.
Which just shows we have wasted the last 2 years going full circle.
We’ve wasted the last 9 years under the Clown Owners actually and it’s obvious that cycle will continue forever with them.
